What is the one symptom of any illness you absolutely abhor?

It is really hard to choose between having sorethroat and having runny nose.

I seriously don't mind fever (only in this context). I don't mind headaches. Chills can get quite bad. Coughs and sneezes are quite bad too especially when you can't control them and you end up embarassing yourself in classes and stuff.

But sorethroat is bad because you feel the pain whenever you swallow your saliva. Runny nose is even worse because it makes ur nose damn tired and your eyes damn tired cos they are connected somehow and then you feel like you can't open your eyes and then you keep blowing your nose and use up like a few hundred sheets of tissue paper a day (not exaggerating) and the skin around your nose area is like peeling and it's damn painful but there's just no way out other than to blow your nose. This seriously sucks.

The best thing is when this happens while you are having your mid terms. 5 mid terms. Then you can't really open your eyes to study cos they feel damn droopy and you feel damn tired because your eyes and nose are tired. Then you feel the pain in your throat. And then the doctor tells you that this is a very powerful common cold thing (actually I think he meant the flu cos he mentioned virus) and you probably won't get well so soon and there's nothing pretty much he can do except to say that vitamin C will speed up the recovery. Then he shows you REDOXEN (i think it's spelt that way) vitamin C and teaches you what dosage blah blah dissolve in cold water drink before you sleep kinda thing. And then you go out and the lady gives you some medicine like cough syrup and lozenges and you dont see the vitamin C effervescene tablets. Then you ask about it and she tells you that they don't have it at the clinic and asks you to get at Watsons.
