Team SMURockers. Can't believe Wei Zhong came up with that corny name.

From left: Mistress, Husband and Wife.
We started the race at 8am. Flagged off at Youth Park. 24 JC teams and 26 varsity teams. We ran from Youth Park to Orchard Mrt Station to complete a puzzle, then we ran to Fort Canning Park and answered some questions, and then to Esplanade where we were supposed to skip 300 times + juggle a football 20 times consecutively. We finished the skipping with ease (probably because I didn't contribute to the the 300 count at all) and Wei Zhong tried to juggle the football. We were stuck at this station coz it was so hard to do it 20 times consecutively. The highest count we reached was 16. I decided to use my whining skills.. "16 can anot? Close lah. can lah horrr.. pls pls pls pls pls". Sucked thumb. Probably she jealous of my F cup boobs. Hohoho. So she forced me to resort to cheating. From our usual counting of "1,2,3,4,5,6,7....", I started to count "1,2,3,5,6,8,9,11..." But it still didn't help. The closest Wei Zhong got was 19. And time was running out. Then Huiting took over the counting "1,2,3,12!13,14,..." She win big big liao loh. We cleared the stage.
From Fort Canning we ran to Shaw Center to do abseiling. I HAVE TO BITCH ABOUT THIS STATION. We reached there at about 9.10am, while the first team that got there reached about 8.40am, so we were later than them by about half an hour. And that half an hour's difference translated into 3 hours of difference because the QUEUE at the station was freaking disgusting. Only 2 people could abseil down shaw center at one time, there were 50 teams, each team had 4 pple. You can go do the maths. Seriously, don't they teach QM at NTU? Don't they know what's multi sever model? Don't they know how to estimate queueing time? My team asked the helper at the station if waiting time would affect our competitive standing. I mean, its 3 whole freaking hours of waiting so it's gonna be SUPER unfair. He reassured us not to worry because they'll deduct the waiting time from the final timing. Please. NEVER TRUST A HELPER. They don't know a thing. So in the end, when the first team cleared the station at about 850am, we left the station at noon. It's damn disgusting. Seriously, I was super pissed off with the NTU Xphysique organizing comm. It's not the first time they're organizing something like this. Isn't it common sense that there would be a long queue? Couldn't they have done something about it? Man. By the time we left the station, the team that left the abseiling station first had almost completed the race. Sucks. Oh well, but we didn't wanna waste our 120 bucks (yes for registration its damn ex) just running around the place and doing some stupid skipping and jigsaw puzzle, so we decided to carry on with the race.
So from Shaw Center we ran all the way to KALLANG river. Near No Sign Board. I must have ran at least 15Km today. We did a jetty jump and Kayaked from kallang river to Clark Quay. That must have been close to 10Km too. By the time we reached Clark Quay, it was already 2pm. We had a choice to carry on with the race or to report back to Youth Park w/o completing it. If we were to complete the race, we would have to run to Marina Bay from Clark Quay, cycle to Chinatown to climb, and then run back to Youth Park from Chinatown. More and more running. They didn't even have a proper route planned out. We felt like idiots running around the place, from station to station. Wei Zhong and Huiting had to hand up CAT assignment at 5pm, which they haven't completed. And we would have finished the race by 2pm IF NOT for the stupid abseiling station. We figured that if we were to complete the race, Wei Zhong and Huiting would not be able to submit their homework. So we gave up and walked back to Youth Park from Clark Quay (yes no more running. we walked) But we were damn pissed and annoyed with the inefficiency of the whole event.
No more NTU Xphysique next year. Or any other events organized by NTU Sports Club.
