Radio Radio

You know there's this programme when people will send in questions for Daniel Ong to answer? Today this Natasha girl sent in this question,

"Why do we always laugh when we are chasing after a bus/running across a road?"

For me, I guess it'll be either due to embarassment (Like so many people on the bus staring at you) or its like cheap thrill la. Fun.

Then Daniel Ong said his friend said that it triggers some kinda childhood memories. When we were younger we played catching and we were laughing. So when we move our leg muscles to run after the bus that mechanism is activated so we laugh. WHAT KIND OF ANSWER IS THIS.

After that he came up with an alternative answer. Apparently when we run our heart beats faster, then the blood flows faster and when the blood flows faster it tickles our blood vessels so we laugh. Then Daniel Ong burst out laughing at his own joke.

......

Oh but the question before that some guy asked him what's the deepest Ocean and how deep it is. It's actually the Pacific Ocean which is about 8000+m and the deepest trench in the world is 10000+m. So when you throw the whole Mount Everest in you can't see the mountain anymore. How cool is that. 8000+m is like 5000 Manchis stacked on top of each other and the Manchi on the top still won't be able to breath.

After that I listened to FM93.3 then the dunno who who told a story. There's this taxi driver in Chicago who has kidney failure and he's waiting for a transplant. And then there's this business man who will hire him to be his driver every time he goes to Chicago. But the businessman goes there only like a few times a year and stays for a short while. They hardly talk. This relationship continued for a few years. Once, the businessman asked him about his health condition and found out he got kidney failure. So he casually asked him what blood type he was. The taxi driver said O+. And the businessman said, "me too! Does that mean I can donate my kidney to you?" The taxi driver thought he was making fun of his plight.

Last month, the taxi driver received his new kidney from the businessman.

So sweet.
